Hvaler blouse & dress for kids is a loose and comfortable blouse or dress with a lot of ease. The pattern has several choices for both blouse and dress. Both garments can be sewn with a variety of sleeve options, and the dress can be sewn with or without pockets. The neck opening is closed with a button or tie at the back.

Wondering about the name? “Hvaler” is a beautiful place by the sea in Norway, and that is where the cover picture is taken. I go there every summer, and the pattern started there (because of course I bring my sewing machine to the cabin). The name will translate to “Whales” from Norwegian to English, but has nothing to do with whales in this pattern.
